THE LOOP APPROACH - Sebastian Klein, Ben Hughes

* Before you can change how you act, you have to change how you think

* LOOP MINDSET:

- Move from predict-and control mindset to sense and respond thinking

- Purpose orientation: Greater driving purpose

- Autonomy and self-organization

* LOOP APPROACH:

- Focus on teams, tensions and roles to empower organizations to become more agile

- A step by step strategy that empowers individual teams to execute small changes independently.

- Provide team members with a framework for communicating such tensions, and to encourage the team to work to solve them.

- Employees can hold a number of roles at the same time

- Implement by 3 workshops:

+/ Module 1: Clarity - its alignment (The purpose playoffs: two sentences for purpose) => People potential (clarify team members' skills and strengths) => Personal profile => Better definition of roles

+/ Module 2: Results: Personal effectiveness (Getting things done-GTD method by David Allen: all demands on your attention and then empty it by categorize: Irrelevant-Information-Events-Actionable items: 2 minutes rules => Done immediately or go to task-within half an hour/project) => Team Effectiveness (How to solve tentions-Four Spaces by Tom Thomison, Operational space (Sync meeting); Governance Space; individual Space; Tribe Space

+/ Module 3: Evolution - high adaptability: governance meeting - decentralized management method => Integratuve decision making process (IDM)-7 steps: Share problems - Ask Qs - Reaction round - Emendation and clarification - Objection round - integration round

=> Nonviolent communication (NVC): Observe what is objectively happening - articulate how you feel about this - Identify which needs of yours are affected - Frame your needs in terms of a request to the other person
